How to remove john deere 8410 rear wheel?
The following steps should be taken in order to remove the rear wheel of a John Deere 8410:
1. Put the front and rear wheels squarely on a level surface and set the parking brake.
2. Remove the hex bolts from the rear wheel axle with a wrench or hex key. Place them in a safe place so they can be reused if necessary, such as on another John Deere 8410 or on another piece of equipment.
3. Place an automotive jack under one side of the rear axle and raise it until it is high enough to support the weight of the tractor and provide access to both sides of the axle casing without obstructing movement between them.
4. Turn off all power sources to prevent accidental contact with live wires and allow for easy access to moving parts
The rear wheel can be removed by first loosening the bolts that hold it to the axle using a wrench. The bolts are found on the top of the wheel hub, and they need to be loosened with a wrench. The brake drum can then be pulled off by removing two bolts that hold it in place.
